Get Drunk on Travel and High on Experiences

st goar travel germanyHey Everyone! I truly appreciate you taking the time to visit and explore my brand new travel blog. I am an ordinary girl, trying to live this thing we call life. Writing has always been a huge passion of mine and I am so ecstatic that I have finally taken the leap and created my first official blog.

My name is Angela and I’m the blogger behind Little Lives Big. 🙂

You may be wondering where the name came from… Well, let’s just say I’ve never had an issue finding a guy taller than me. I’m a 5’0 tall, twenty-five year old teacher living in downtown Baltimore. I was raised in New Jersey and am a diehard New York Yankee fan (sorry, Orioles). Dancing, working out, cooking, and spending time with family and friends are other pastimes I enjoy. I’m a millennial- maybe you are too. I’m not OK with being stuck in one place.

I know there is more to this world than Maryland. Than New Jersey. Than the United States. And I want to experience it.

So, I am! Traveling is my biggest hobby (obsession, if you will). Growing up, I always wanted to travel but, of course, that takes time and money. It was imperative I graduated high school and went to college first. Next thing I knew, I landed a job and BAM, just like that, I had to figure out how to adult in the real world.first time travel europe

Finally, last March, I took my first Eurotrip! I booked the trip right after my long-term relationship ended. I realized I needed to start doing the things I’d been dreaming of doing. No more procrastinating. No excuses. After all, it’s up to us to make our dreams reality.

I explored seven remarkable countries in just ten days abroad. After that spontaneous, life-changing trip, I was addicted. The travel bug had bitten me (hard) and there is no cure for the symptoms— I am always thinking about my next adventure and adding to my ever-growing bucket list.

On May 10th, I was innocently browsing online and found a direct, round-trip flight to Barcelona for only $332. Can you guess what I did on May 11th? Of course— I bought it. And, that’s just how I live my life these days. I don’t want to worry about money, a house, or kids… I want to MOVE. I want to discover. I want to leave my comfort zone, experience new things, and eat food that I can’t pronounce.

munich germany beerI’ve been to 13 different countries so far and will travel to my 14th next month!

Don’t ever let someone tell you that you can’t. You can. Little steps make for big journeys. Little Lives Big is more than a blog, it’s more than a community- it’s a mindset. And you can live big, too.

I hope you choose to follow me, chat with me, and join me on my adventures. I will be writing about all things travel- abroad and here in the states. I will share stories and tips, post incredible airfare deals, give honest reviews, and even have giveaways! I’d love to write about what interests you as well.
