You MUST Do These 4 Things in Paris!

Ah, France. A land like no other. Walking around Paris felt like a dream… Even thinking back on it now, it’s so hard to believe I was ever evemust do parisn there. But I was.

And now I want to share my Paris experience and must do list with you!

Of course, I ate baguettes and escargot- and I just had to buy macarons. You can find these three staples almost anywhere in the city, so don’t worry, you won’t miss out. I also toured a perfumery and bought a bar of French soap (which has yet to be taken out of its decorative box, by the way). A couple friends of mine rented bikes and rode them around the city, which looked like A LOT of fun. I, however, decided to stroll around the streets with some others instead and really take in the sights— it’s safe to say I had a one of my best cardio workouts that day!

You MUST Do These 4 Things in Paris:

1. You knew it was coming: the Eiffel Tower. Everyone’s heard of it, musicians sing about it, and most people can only dream about it. Well, my dream became reality in March 2016. This should be your first stop in Paris, France! It’s gorgeous to view during the day and at night; the tower is sometimes lit up different colors too. Climb to the top for the full experience and to get a stunning view of the majestic city.

People call the exits “escape routes” and you’ll understand why when you’re there. I was able to capture some marvelous pictures here, but did not even attempt to cross the roundabout to climb the famed Arc. Trying to run through that roundabout would’ve been as smart as me jumping into a tank of ravenous piranhas.

3. Tour the Louvre. This museum is quite extensive; in fact, it’s the world’s largest! It is basically impossible to explore the entire museum in one day but it is an historical landmark that you need to, at the very least, go see and admire— even if it is just from the outside. If you’re passionate about art, I wish whoever has to pull you away from this world-famous monument luck (they’re going to need it).

4. Hands down, the best experience I had in Paris, was seeing the cabaret: Mmust do moulin rougeoulin Rouge. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE. I can’t even put it into words. I am so very thankful that all cameras and phones are banned inside; you are forced to live in the moment and truly relish every second of this unbelievable show. When in Paris, this is a must do for sure!
